Squash Blossoms (clam)

Squash blossoms are large, soft, and delicate flowers that come from the squash plant, which also produces zucchini and pumpkin. They are usually bright yellow or orange in color, and have a mild flavor similar to the squash itself. Squash blossoms can be used in many ways, including stuffed and roasted, shredded or sliced in soups, risotto, scrambled eggs, or pizza, or added raw to salads.
