Lippia alba, also known as Oaxaca lemon verbena, is a flowering shrub with many medicinal uses and culinary properties. It can be consumed fresh in teas, sweets, extracts, syrups, and tinctures. Lippia alba has a lemony, citrus flavor with notes of verbena, lime, and lemongrass.
